YOGA & MEDITATION
Dynamic Hatha Yoga (every morning) — a strength building and heating practice designed for all levels, safe and supportive for beginners, with challenges and modifications for experienced yogis.
Yin Yoga (every evening) — a slow and gentle practice designed to stretch and open the body as well as deeply restore and nurture.
Meditation (throughout) — meditation will be incorporate into every yoga session as well as many of the workshops. In addition special yoga nidra meditations will be offered in the afternoons.
- Open & Anchor to Essence — Find clarity in the essence of yourself and your souls desires, plus learn yogic practices to stay anchored in this divine essence.
- Ayurveda For Spring & Summer — Explore your Ayurvedic constitution and guidelines for eating and living to feel vital and vibrant in Spring & Summer.
- Nature Embodied Bush Walk — A mindfulness meditation bush walk to deepen our connection with, and understanding of, nature around and within us.
- Set Your Soul Free with EFT — Learn a powerful technique to break through limiting beliefs, bad habits and negative self talk that holds you back from expanding your soul.
- Spirit Expanded Vision Boarding — Create a vision board to take home and keep you connected to all the insights and inspiration. Set intensions and watch your power of creation when it comes from a clear and recharged soul.
Govinda Valley Retreat Center extends to twenty acres of forest and landscaped gardens and is set amidst the thousands of acres of the Royal National Park nature reserve.
Here you can explore waterfalls, walking trails and the white, sandy beaches of the Illawarra coastline. You can also encounter indigenous wildlife such as cockatoos, azure kingfishers and wild deer that exist peacefully within the grounds.
Although the Retreat Centre is set within secluded woodlands, you can be there from Sydney within one hour. There is also a regular train to the nearby Otford Station from the centre of Sydney.
Organic, fresh, vegetarian food catered three meals a day all from the organic garden on site, deeply nourishing and made with love.
Accommodation consists of two attached wings with a mixture of shared and ensuite rooms. In addition you can enjoy a variety of tranquil outdoor spaces, including sunny terraces, organic gardens and a beautiful amphitheater. Plus a yoga hall with stunning, panoramic views of the Australian bush.

Travel to and from the retreat is not included, but there will be many options to share rides if you don’t have a car, as well as train from the Sydney CBD and an organised pick up from the local train station in Ottford.

I am still talking about your retreat to other mums on the northern beaches as it was such an inspiring, uplifting weekend that I wish they could have all experienced too.
I know the immediate, positive effect the retreat has had on me. It boosted my self esteem, reconnected me to my absolute love of nature and I am so much happier internally because of it. The Spring Retreat with Morgan was such a wonderful way to renew and rejuvenate for the new season.
The setting was peaceful and there was a real sense of community amongst the participants which made it so easy to connect. Morgan really enabled us to all feel comfortable and was the most beautiful host. Her passion and guidance through the workshops and yoga were truly inspiring and it was genuinely so lovely to be in her presence. I wish I could do it all again……..hopefully soon! Thanks Morgan.
This was a very relaxed retreat that had the perfect balance between yoga, personal development and relaxation.
